Description Of Vacation Rental

This suite was completely renovated in June 2012! Suite has 10ft ceilings, large windows, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. The 3 piece bathroom has a glass shower and porcelain tiles.
 
The suite comes fully equipped with brand furniture, appliances’ and everything else you need to enjoy your stay in Victoria. The living room has a leather love seat sofa, 40” plasma TV with digital cable and BluRay/DVD player. The kitchen comes with all cookware, plates and cutlery. The queen size bed set comes with storage underneath and side table. Fresh towels, linens and wireless internet are all included as well as a starter pack of coffee, tea, sugar, dishwasher/laundry tabs for your convenience.

Our restored character 9-plex is located right at the Rockland/Oak Bay border. This central location is just minutes away to everything: Dallas Road oceanfront, Cook Street Village, Downtown, Oak Bay Village and Fernwood Village. Walk to local attractions, such as Craigdarroch Castle, the Art Gallery of Great Victoria, or shop along antique row, all less than a 5 minute walk away. Grab a bite to eat or shop for groceries right across the street at the Stadacona Center.

Off street parking spots are available for a monthly fee or there are several bus stops at the corner. Common coin laundry room on site. Children are welcome and small pets with a monthly pet fee.

    My fiancee and I booked Martin's suite for a week. This was our first vacation rental experience, so we weren't quite sure what to expect. I'm happy to say the entire process went very smoothly; Martin was always quick to respond to any questions and the suite was clean and looked exactly as pictured. The suite is conveniently located near a bus stop, with multiple bus routes to and from downtown (as well as UVic, which was very helpful since we were commuting to and from campus most days). It's also quite close to some landmark sites, like Craigdarroch Castle and the Governor's House, and an easy 30 min walk to downtown/harbour. The one downside with the location is the traffic, which can seem a bit loud if you like to keep the windows open. I travel quite a bit, though, and always pack earplugs, so this was a non-problem. Overall, we had no complaints. We would definitely book with Martin again!

    This place was well-situated. Just a 20 minute walk from downtown and a 15-minute express bus (Route 15X) ride to University of Victoria. Across the street are an excellent breakfast place (Shine) and a good wings place, featuring many different sauces. I left my car in its parking space and walked and took the bus everywhere I needed. The unit itself is clean and well-kept, with good quality appliances and utensils in the kitchen. Martin and his staff were super-responsive to all my requests. My only concern was that Fort Street is busy and there's traffic sound all day. Also one of the other units was a bit noisy on weekend evenings.

    Martin's Brand New Suite with 10FT Ceilings in Victoria was perfect for my wife and I. The space couldn't have been more beautiful, and it was readily apparent that it was recently renovated. We had a lovely time in Victoria and wish only that we'd had more time to see more of Victoria's lovely sites. The suite was within reasonable walking distance to the wharf, parking at the suite was readily available, and check in and check out were painless. Thank you Martin for helping make our first airbnb experience an excellent one.
